If you are prone to cold sores (even if you've only ever had one) i suggests taking the Acyclovir medication for a week before and after your appointment.
 If you have the virus in your system, it is very likely that you will come out in a cold sore after lip blush.
However the anti viral medication can stop this.
Make sure your lips are soft & hydrated.
Please make sure you are drinking 2 litres of water per day in the week leading up to your appointment. Exfoliate your lips prior to the appointment using a lip scrub or a damp towel and then put some lip balm on.

Avoid wearing makeup as will be wiped of
