EP Massage

A sports massage session focuses on relieving muscle tension, improving mobility and supporting recovery from physical activity or injury. During this session, we will briefly go through your current symptoms, activity levels and any areas of discomfort before going straight into the treatment. This treatment involves hands-on soft-tissue techniques targeted to your needs, targeting tight, sore or overworked muscles. 

Sports massage can help to reduce muscle soreness, improve circulation, enhance flexibility and aid both injury prevention and rehabilitation.

In an Injury Assessment Session, we will perform a comprehensive assessment, designed to understand your injury, movement patterns and overall physical health. During this session, we will talk through your current symptoms, your current exercise routine, your past injury history and your previous medical history. We will also go through detailed physical testing. After this, we will perform some treatment (if you are willing) relevant to the injury, and then give you some aftercare advice alongside a personalised recovery plan to support your recovery, reduce the risk of future injury and most important of all, to get you back to your best. This session is 1 hour long.

Injury Assessment Session + Treatment

Please choose this option if you are NOT part a staff member of the Bedford College Group.

Injury Assessment

A follow-up session is designed to continue your treatment and rehabilitation after completing your Injury Assessment Session. These appointments are only available once your 'Injury Assessment Session' has been carried out, ensuring that all treatment is based on a full understanding of your injury, goals and medical history.

During a follow-up session, we will review your progress, reassess symptoms, and adjust your treatment plan as needed. The session may include a combination of hands-on therapy, exercise progression, mobility work and recovery techniques tailored to support your ongoing improvement and long-term results.
