Dry needling is an invasive treatment where thin needles or acupuncture needles are inserted into the skin and muscles. It is indicated for a range of chronic pain, tendon disorders and osteoarthritis.

It is not indicated for acute medical conditions, infections, lymphoedema, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, frailty, pregnancy, blood disorders, allergies, prone to bleeding or those taking anticoagulant medication.
