Massage for children with varying diagnoses and conditions.  Time will vary based on child's nervous system regulation at the time.  Session fee is consistent regardless of time.

Massage with Morgan Hickey, CCC-SLP, LMT for children focuses first on nervous system regulation so that the body can release protective patterns and release aversions to touch.  The primary goal is a sense of nervous system security to build resilience to stress.  Children will not be forced to comply or pushed through a massage protocol.

Morgan is skilled at reading and responding to the cues of the body, particularly the cues of nonverbal.  Respecting these cues allows the body to feel safe and the nervous system to relax.  The feeling of safety in the presence of touch promotes movement from a sympathetic dominant to a parasympathetic dominant state of being.  This allows children who are chronically stressed or with sensitive systems to then learn and then re-organize through bodywork.  

Child's Massage Session

Amount of time will vary, based on the moment in time; one fee, regardless of time.  MNRI Reflex integration to address learning, behavioral, speech, physical, developmental challenges.
