Stephen Waterreus, Registered Massage Therapist, provides therapeutic massage and deep tissue massage at his office on Main and Front Street, downtown Whitehorse, Yukon. As of May 11, 2020, I am open for business. I very much look forward to offering each and every client safe and effective Therapeutic Massage. The health and wellness of all my clients are of the utmost importance to me. I will be following recommendations of the Yukon’s CMO, Canada’s Health Professionals, and The Public Health Agency of Canada in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19. For all clients: If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 please cancel your appointment, isolate yourself and contact 811. I will only be seeing clients who are 100 percent healthy. If you are returning from a trip outside of the country and outside of the Yukon please wait 14 days before booking a treatment. Please contact me by phone, before your treatment, if you have any concerns at all. Specific Guidelines: Please show up at the time your appointment is scheduled, NOT early. Hand sanitizer will be provided for each client, prior to entering the office. Clients will be contacted 24 hours prior to treatment for a brief interview to go over clinic rules and to establish that you meet the criteria for safety with regards to the coronavirus. (Eg. A client has not traveled outside of the territory in the past 14 days). Clients will be scheduled no less than 30 minutes apart to allow adequate time for cleaning and disinfecting. The use of masks will be required for immunocompromised clients, I will also wear a mask with these clients. (Please contact me beforehand if you fall within this group). If you have any symptoms of illness at all, please call to reschedule your appointment. My commitment to you: The same rules apply. I will be 100 percent healthy or I will not be working. Before and after each treatment all high touch areas will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I will be washing my hands immediately before and after each treatment. Clients will be booked no less than 30 minutes apart to allow me adequate time to clean the office. Thank you!
