 The benefits of having a pregnancy massage include:

Pregnancy Massage

Myofascial release is hands-on, manual therapy, using sustained pressure or traction from the therapist's hands into restricted fascia. 

Myofascial release therapy may help anyone who has tightness in their fascial tissues and benefit people who have experienced:
-Physical trauma: From incidences such as falls, car accidents or whiplash.
-Scarring: eg, from conditions such as burns or surgery.
-Adhesion's or Inflammation: eg, from conditions such as bursitis, osteoarthritis. frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis.
-Compressed nerves: eg, from herniated disks or carpal tunnel syndrome.
-Repetitive stress injuries: eg, from heavy lifting or poor posture.

The benefits include-improvements in range of motion, faster recovery for damaged tissue and less soreness. This manual therapy focuses on soft tissue dysfunction, pain, tension and holding patterns. Other techniques may be integrated with the MFR to help your body.

This session can be in person or on-line for your convenience.

Hypnotherapy is great if you are looking for change in a habit or behavior, to make a positive shift in your life and to learn new ways to deal with negative self talk and doubt.

Please note-You are fully in control when under hypnosis and do not have to take on the therapist's suggestions if you do not want to.



Hypnotherapy

Remedial massage is a massage type that is designed to treat both deep and superficial tissues. Remedial massage has a wide range of skilled techniques used to manipulate soft tissues, including deep tissue, trigger point work and joint mobilisation etc...
All bodywork therapies will include a postural assessment to see where referred pain and how the whole body may be affecting you and where you are feeling the tension/problem in a specific area.

Swedish/Holistic massage is a therapeutic treatment that focuses on the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – rather than just addressing specific physical symptoms. It combines various massage techniques to promote overall well-being, relaxation, and balance.

You will need to fill in a consultation & consent form prior to your child's session and be present during their session. So children get use to the session & surroundings I suggest a few visits roughly a week a part to see if they can settle into it.

Exercise during pregnancy offers numerous benefits for both mother and baby. It can help manage pregnancy discomforts, improve overall fitness, and prepare the body for labor and delivery. Regular physical activity can also reduce the risk of certain pregnancy complications, such as gestational diabetes and preeclampsia.

Prenatal Care

This service includes a postnatal assessment, pelvic health care, scar-work and help for other issues that may arise from child birth. 
We combine myofascial release and other soft tissue massage techniques for your pelvic health. Every session is client lead, especially for internal pelvic work and scar work. You are in control of the session- with your consent and active participation throughout the process.
 
Before your examination you are given a consent form detailing the procedure and making sure we have information about your birthing journey.    
 - During this session we look at your posture and core stability.
 - If you need scar work treatment-  we can also provide you with exercises and information that you can do at home, in between your sessions.

You can book this and then get a discounted membership for the "Postnatal Package" - 3 × 90 minute sessions.

Postnatal Pelvic health or/& Scar work

For your self-care, to have a moment for general relaxation and release of tension.
Postnatal massage can also be about giving yourself the space and time to ease any aches, pains or feeling of swelling and bloating. Use this opportunity to have a well needed moment of self-care and relaxation, to release tension and recharge your energy levels.

A 121 sound healing session uses sound vibrations to help the body return to a state of balance. 
A mixture of instruments can be used.
It can help the brain move into a more relaxed state, release tension in the body and unblock energetically.

Sound Healing

I run sound baths privately for small groups in people's home.
This is for a 60 minute session so there will need to be a bit of time allocated for setting up and taking down to consider.
Please note, an additional travel cost is added to get to your location (usually a taxis, due to the transporting of all the instruments).
