After 18 years in the salon industry, I left to create MELamorphosis in 2020. I moved to North Devon from Eastbourne, and it has been a fantastic personal and career move. I have been able to balance a busy home life and build a fabulous client base. I work from a beautiful country studio near Buckland Brewer North Devon, where I have created a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I offer a wide range of services, including haircuts, styling, and colour. I also offer a variety of haircare products to help my clients maintain their new looks at home.

Mel was friendly welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful, understanding and it was a pleasure to have my hair done by her. My natural dark and grey, hair had been previously bleached & dyed various colours. I wanted to go darker overall, with maybe copper highlights, Mel advised me, quite rightly, and in a v friendly way, that my poor hair needed a rest! She suggested a semi permanent colour, to restore health and shine this time, & to do what I wanted, eventually, once my hair was in better condition. I am V V HAPPY with the gorgeous brown red Mel created for me, & hv booked to see Mel again.
