⚠️ When gel is curing, a heat spike occurs resulting in brief discomfort. 
This typically only happens when a lot of the nail plates is bare (a full set). Burning is less frequent during fills. 
Hard gel extensions cannot be soaked off! Removal involves filing off the product (it’s safe to keep getting fills once the nails haven’t lifted)
Gel X extensions, polygel, gel manis and structured gel manis can be soaked off. 

The gel will not dry/cure properly if your hand is not correctly placed in the LED light. That means that you can ruin my product placement if you interfere with the product or take too long to place your hand in the light. That costs me time and $. Please pay attention to your positions and movements during the process 
Gel is sticky until your nails are completely done. Please be mindful and avoid getting dust, lint, hairs or grease on your nails for the best outcome!

I currently only offer gel services! (No acrylic, no fumes)

If you want designs, crystals etc. please book the corresponding tier of art/designs to your booking
The tiers are based on complexity.
For example: minimal designs like basic lines or dots are TIER 1. Designs including multiple colors, techniques and products are TIER 3. 
 
Instead of trying to verbally explain a design it’s BEST to send inspo pics etc WELL BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT in case I need to schedule additional time for your design.

If your toenails are damaged please send a picture for my assessment before booking. 
I cannot not service fungal/infected toes. 
As I aim for an acrylic-free service menu, I will no longer be offering acrylic toenail reconstruction. The alternative is a POLYGEL enhancement. 

Toenail Reconstruction 

I work predominantly with viscous gels NOT ACRYLIC. I also predominantly use forms NOT TIPS. 
I WILL NOT SERVICE NAIL BITERS because I need a healthy nail bed with a free edge to get the best outcome on your nails. 
*I reserve the right to refuse service if you arrive with bitten, unworkable nails. Your deposit will not be refunded.*

A $25 deposit is required for ALL NEW CLIENTS and for appointment requests outside of my regular working hours. 
It is BEST to pay the deposit via FCIBC 1st Pay, BPWCCUL or regular bank transfer. If you are unable to make a transfer yourself, you can seek assistance from a relative or friend and your name MUST be included in the transfer notes. 
If you absolutely must pay in person, kindly reach out as soon as you book so that I can make arrangements to facilitate you.

A pre-shaped, full cover gel tip is applied to the natural nails. 
The result is a thinner, more natural feeling set. 
This service is quicker than a traditional gel extension set, leaving more time for designs. 

*If you are an extreme nail biter, heavy-handed, or work with high-temperatures, this service may not be suitable *

Tier 3 - Advanced Designs 

This tier includes hand-painted french tips or 2-color acrylic ombré (I do not offer gel polish ombrée), simple repetitive designs like polka dots or basic linework/abstract art, marble, swirls

SIMPLE/Minimalist designs. 
Including, but not limited to: simple line work, basic art, foil embellishments

Hard gel DOES NOT SOAK OFF. The hard gel is filed off using an e-file (drill) and a thin, protective layer of soakable gel may be applied if desired

Gel polish and structure gel are filed down then soaked off with acetone to remove. Nails may be left bare or you may follow up with a different enhancement
