At our clinic, we take a different approach. We offer longer, in-depth consultations via video or telephone, giving you the opportunity to openly discuss your symptoms, concerns, and priorities in a safe space.

This is a short 10-minute appointment designed to provide extra support between your formal consultations. It is available to existing patients of SY Menopause Solutions Ltd who have already attended an initial consultation and follow-up within the past 12 months.

If your concerns require more time, we can arrange an earlier follow-up appointment to ensure you receive the support you need.

HRT Review & Testosterone Discussion

This consultation is designed for women already using HRT who continue to experience symptoms such as low libido, or who are interested in exploring whether testosterone may be helpful. Some women also report improvements in energy, mood, and concentration with testosterone therapy, though further research is ongoing.

Before this appointment, a blood test measuring testosterone and SHBG levels is required. We can help you arrange a private test if needed (please note that only venous blood samples are accepted, not finger-prick kits). With your consent, your GP will receive a copy of your clinic letter. If testosterone is suggested as part of your treatment, a repeat blood test is required after 2–3 months to check levels remain within the normal female range.

HRT review (for those already established on HRT) & Testosterone Assessment

3-Month Follow-Up Consultation

Your follow-up appointment at three months provides an opportunity to review how you’ve been feeling and discuss any ongoing symptoms or concerns. During this session, we can make adjustments to your treatment plan if needed, while continuing to take a holistic approach to your care. With your consent, we recommend sharing a copy of your clinic letter with your GP so they are kept informed of any changes to your medication or treatment.

Follow Up Consultation

At SY Menopause Solutions Ltd, we want you to feel comfortable and supported from the moment you begin your journey with us. Each consultation lasts up to 50 minutes, giving you unhurried time to share your experiences in a safe, confidential space. All records are handled securely and in line with professional standards. 

Your appointment - we’ll review your medical history, go through your Menopause Symptoms Questionnaire and Symptom Checker, and talk through your concerns in detail. This allows us to build a complete picture of your health, including any current or past medications, so we can provide care tailored specifically to you.
