 Collagen Induction Therapy (more commonly known as Micro-needling) is an advanced treatment that is done using a pen-like device with detachable, disposable needle heads. The tiny needles contained in these attachments are used to pierce the skin, with the depth of piercing ranging from superficial epidermis to papillary dermis. The penetration of the micro-needles into the epidermal layer of the skin creates numerous micro-injuries, stimulating the fibroblast cells to increase collagen production.
