This treatment is suitable for those with or recovering from a life limiting illness such as cancer, this is a suitable massage for anyone with any lymph nodes removed. Using carrier oils, Swedish Massage and Simple Lymphatic Drainage movements this massage will help to improve emotions, reduce stress and provide a new sense of hope and positivity.

Wellness Cancer Specialist Massage

With the use of carrier oils and a few extra pillows, this is a side lying massage suitable for anyone who is over 12 weeks pregnant or for anyone who feels uncomfortable lying face down, whether you have recently given birth or due to a medical reason.

Pre-blended aromatherapy Massage techniques are used to stimulate and positively uplift or relax  and calm the mind and body. There is a choice of oils and depending which oil we will use during the Massage, will depend on the techniques that will be used.
This is a bespoke Massage and can be adapted in many ways, this will be confirmed in the consultation.

ADAPTATIONS 
Pregnancy Massage - Only available after the 12th week scan. This adaptation will include a pregnancy pillow and the use of Carrier oils instead.

Lymph nodes removal or Life Limiting illnesses such as Cancer - This adaptation will include a different massage technique including Simple Lymphatic Drainage and Swedish movements whilst using Carrier oils only.

What is Lava Shells Massage?
The Lava Shells are hollow, porcelain, hand painted tiger clam shells, they are also self heated which gives a warming relaxing feel to the massage.
There are three different sides of the shells that can be used when massaging which allows me to apply firmer pressure in the area that is needed.

How do the Shells heat up?
They heat up by pouring one packet of minerals and warm water into the shells. These minerals are magnesium, iron, salt and lavender oil.
When mixed together there is a natural chemical reaction which produces heat.
These minerals have various different levels of heat. Level One is low to medium heat and Level Two is high heat. We will discuss in the consultation (before the treatment) which level of heat you prefer if you are unsure when booking.

Lava Shells Massage

We will use up to 2 Shells during this treatment. Starting with a peaceful hands on Scalp and Neck Massage, once turned over we will use the Shells during Back Massage.

Scalp & Back Massage

We will use up to 3 Shells. Starting with a peaceful hands on Scalp and Neck Massage, then using the Shells we'll massage Hands and Arms, Feet and Legs finishing with a Back Massage.

This consultation is suitable for everyone and anyone who is unsure which style of massage is best for them. It includes, a conversation about your story why are you looking for a massage? If suitable we will do a postural assessment and test your range of movement, and finally create a treatment plan together for what is best for you and your lifestyle.

Spa & Sports Massage Consultation

Consultation

This is a hybrid treatment, between Swedish and Sports Massage. By using very little massage oil, the muscles can be hooked or grabbed, thereby stretching and lengthening them. Strokes will be considerably slower and possibly shorter and some areas may be skipped so more time can be spent on specific areas.

Deep Tissue Massage

This treatment is designed around you. In this time we can massage, Back and Neck or Back and Legs or Front and Back of Legs. We will discuss in the consultation what areas we will work on.

Deep Tissue Bespoke Massage

This Massage includes, Back, Legs, Feet, Hands, Arms and Neck. 

Deep Tissue Full Body Massage

This treatment includes, a consultation about your area of concern then a Postural assessment, to understand your posture and your range of movement, finally the massage itself will contain a mixture of deep tissue techniques and trigger points to release muscular tightness to encourage a better range of movement.
