I had a wonderful massage with Christie, it was the perfect mix of being relaxing and also feeling like it was actually doing a good job with my tense muscles! Sports Massage is ideal for anyone looking to prevent injury, speed up recovery, reduce muscle soreness, improve flexibility, and correct posture.

Don’t be put off by the term “sports”, this treatment is also for you if you sit at a desk all day, have a physical job, struggle with posture, or feel tight and restricted.

It’s especially effective for issues like lower back pain, tight shoulders, knee discomfort, and restricted movement.

Using deep tissue and trigger point techniques, stretching, movement and muscle release, this targets muscle imbalances, restores movement, breaks down adhesions, realign posture, and boosts performance—whether you’re training, recovering, or managing daily aches.

If you’re wanting something a bit more general that focuses on relieving muscular tension, Deep Tissue Massage may be a more suitable option.

For your first session? A postural assessment will be included to check your range of movement. Please bring shorts, and for ladies, a sports bra. 

Sports Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is designed to release tension, ease muscle stiffness, and promote relaxation. Using slow, firm pressure, this treatment targets deeper layers of muscle and fascia to help relieve chronic aches, improve mobility, and reduce stress.

This treatment typically follows a routine of back, glutes, shoulders, neck, hamstrings, calves, and quads. Ideal for those with tightness from daily activities or general muscle tension.

Pressure levels will be carefully communicated with you throughout to ensure your comfort and can be adjusted as needed—you’re in control.

If you have more specific issues, pain, postural imbalances, or need targeted attention to an area or injury, Sports Massage may be a more suitable option.

Deep Tissue Massage

Your Aromatherapy Massage begins with a consultation to understand your specific needs. Essential oils are then carefully selected and blended into a carrier oil to suit your preferences.

This massage is designed to provide a deeply relaxing experience, aiming to reduce stress, improve circulation, enhance mood, and promote overall well-being. It combines the therapeutic benefits of massage with the medicinal and sensory properties of essential oils.

Following a Swedish massage routine, the session can focus on areas such as your back, shoulders, legs, feet, stomach, arms, neck, face and scalp. 

Each massage is uniquely tailored, with pressure preferences checked and adjusted throughout to ensure your comfort.

You will leave feeling calm, relaxed, and rejuvenated.

Please note, if booking after 5pm on a Monday or Tuesday, there will be a class running in the gym. Whilst we will be in a private room, you will hear music from the main area.
