Keratin treatment helps to straighten the hair & loosen the curl pattern. Its also a de-frizz treatment. Keratin treatment is a different chemical than a relaxer so it’s not permanent. Heat is used to mold the hair after the keratin treatment. Keratin treatment will wash out of your hair over time (approx. 4 to 5 mths if you're doing the full keratin & 4 to 6 wks if you're doing express keratin)
