I’m Penny, founder of Monaco Nail Academy. I’ve been a Nail Artist since 2007 and I absolutely love it – nails are a passion I discovered accidentally and one which has taken my life in a direction I never imagined! I'm a Nail Artist who is a perfectionist, glitter freak, chocoholic, and an Award Winner.  As a Level 2 ‘Scholar’ Educator for Artistic Nail Design, I’ve won awards for best practical nail application amongst the Australasian Education team twice, coming second behind Vanessa Zuj in 2015.

Everything an Express Manicure entails but with the application or backfill of structured 'Builder in a Bottle' gel before your gel colour. 

If this is your first time switching to BIAB from another service such as Gel Polish or Dip/SNS, this does NOT include removal of that product - this needs to be booked separately.

Structured Gel/Builder In A Bottle/BIAB manicures are suitable for people who like their natural nail length but need support for weak/brittle/peeling/breaking nails.

BIAB needs to be maintained 2-3 weekly.

Builder in a Bottle Manicure

Gel Polish or Traditional Polish. Includes shape, one-stage cuticle tidy and removal of previous Traditional or Gel polish.

An Express Manicure is a 30-minute service. Please arrive a few minutes early to choose your colour. During this service, we offer a single colour with a hot towel and cuticle oil at the end. 

You can add Nail Art to your booking if you're wanting added glitter or feature nails.

Note - Does NOT include removal of previous Dip/SNS, this needs to be booked separately

Gel Polish Manicure

This is only for if you're coming in specifically for the repair and nothing else. If you want a repair at the same time as a full manicure service, there is the option to add it on (as this is faster and therefore cheaper) when booking that service.

One-Off Nail Repair 

Gel Polish or Traditional Polish. Includes shape, one-stage cuticle tidy and removal of previous Traditional or Gel polish with a hot towel and cuticle oil at the end. 

Does not include foot spa or skin treatments such as scrubs and massage but you can add treatments to your booking separately.

NOTE - We do not offer Spa Pedicures. For the health of your feet and nails, we use hot towels during our services and do not soak your feet.

Express Pedicure

Plain colour. Includes shape, cuticle tidy and removal of previous traditional or gel polish.

Traditional Polish is suitable for people who just want colour for a special occasion. It will not be dry instantly and will last around 4-7 days. You can remove it at home.

Note - Does NOT include removal of previous Dip/SNS, this needs to be booked separately

Traditional Polish Manicure

Dip Manicures (SNS is a brand of Dip) are suitable for people who like their natural length but find their nails break a lot. However, in all honesty, a Builder in a Bottle Manicure is better, stronger, lasts longer & is easier to remove. 

Dip has been around for 30+ years but has been recently popularised by its availability in Nail Bars, not necessarily because it's better.

If you love it for your nails though, that's ok! I'm happy to do it.

Dip/SNS Manicure

Includes shape, cuticle tidy and high-shine buff. Removal of previous Gel Polish is additional and should be booked separately.

A Naked Manicure is suitable for someone who wants a manicured look without adding colour to their nails.

Note - Does NOT include removal of previous Dip/SNS, this needs to be booked separately

'Naked' Manicure (No Colour)

Super quick application of a plain colour to a child's nails. No bells and whistles - for these you will need to book a normal Manicure :)

Please note that due to the potential for permanent nail damage, we do not offer extension services to anyone 14 or younger.

Acrylic, Hard Gel or PolyGel Extensions

Stronger and longer-lasting than Acrylic, Hard Gel and PolyGel Extensions. 

These are pre-formed extensions adhered with a super strong gel product. 

They flex, rarely break, feel more natural than acrylic, last 3-4 weeks, and don't damage your nails as long as you have them soaked off. 

I LOVE Acrylic and have for my entire 14-year career so far - but these are better, hand on heart.

Please note that the available styles are long - they are not suitable for people who want short nails at this time.

Includes removal and reapplication of Gel Polish. Does not include breakage repair.

SNS can have really unpredictable removal times, so to make sure we have enough time to do a safe, high quality job, we will allow your nails to soak while we complete an Express Pedicure service for you. 

Once we've done your toes, we'll complete the removal of your SNS and then buff your fingernails to a high shine before you leave. 

If you don't want the Pedicure, you are welcome to bring a friend for an Express Manicure or Pedicure instead and split the cost - $55 for them and $20 for you.

Standalone Dip/SNS Removal (Inc Free Express Pedicure)

Acrylic takes a while to dissolve, so to make sure we have enough time to do a safe, high-quality job, we will allow your nails to soak while we complete an Express Pedicure service for you. 

Once we've done your toes, we'll complete the removal of your Acrylic and then buff your fingernails to a high shine before you leave.
