As a busy mum of three, with my eldest being 17, the years have quite literally, flown by. Along with my weight, which has slowly crept up over the years. The turning point came when I couldn't get my size 18 jeans on. I laid on my bed and cried. I had to drive my then, 5 year old daughter to school in my pyjamas. Too embarrassed to get out of the car I wound my window down and asked a parent I knew to take her into school and I drove straight to town. I parked up outside a clothes shop, ran inside, grabbed a pair of size 20 jeans and prayed they would fit whilst I paid as there was no way I was embarrassing myself further and trying them on. Once I got home and I rang my husband in a floods of tears, disgusted at myself for letting my weight get so far out of control and told him I needed help and needed someone, anyone, to help me.
