I have over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry. I learned how to braid by first braiding my hair. I then started braiding/styling my sister’s hair, then family and friends. I am a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Florida.

I have opened Blu Haven Salon to serve my clients. I take pride in everything I do and it will be an honor to style your hair.

If you haven't been in a salon to receive a good treatment, this is the right service for you to book. 

Receive a soothing cleanse of the hair and scalp. Moisturizing treatments, scalp massage and a well needed trim.

The Luxe Shampoo Experience

Is your scalp inflamed? Do you need a deep cleanse of the scalp?

This is an add-on service to any shampoo experience.

Product used to detox scalp will be determined by the condition of the scalp and what is best for the client.

Scalp Detox

This is a deep conditioning treatment service to add moisture and strength to the hair strands.

Deep conditioning treatments are BEST before any braid style. 

It is recommended to do a deep conditioning treatment once a month.

This is an add-on service for the Blu Experience.

Deep Conditioning Treatment

This is an add-on treatment using Olaplex products. 

Olaplex is a system that permanently rebuilds the damaged disulphide bonds in your hair that are broken during the chemical process. 

This treatment can be used on all hair types.

If you don't know if you need this specific treatment, we can discuss prior to your appointment.

An analysis of your hair will be done to determine if you need this treatment.

The is a Permanent Color Application service.

A patch test will need to be done at least 48 hours before this service. 

A patch test is needed to determine that there will be no allergic reactions to the products used during this color service.

If you are not able to come in for a patch test, I will not be able to provide this service.

There's a risk using these types of chemicals that may cause an allergic reaction to the scalp. 

The cost of the service is based on the amount of product used.

Hair braided down for wig or for other protective style. Clients natural hair is braided. No hair extensions is used.

Natural Hair Two Strand Twists

Natural hair updo styled with a combination of flat twists, two strand twists, and or braids. Please send an inspiration photo for desired style. Price will reflect the style complexity. 

Natural Hair Updo

This is an updo style that uses two types of hair extensions: Cuban Twist Hair and Pre-Stretched Braiding Hair. This allows the bun to match the natural hair texture. 

This booking includes a clarifying shampoo, conditioning, blow-dry, and style. 

If client have very dense hair that require a light press/flat iron, an additional fee will be added. This is to allow for a sleek final look.

Natural Hair Services

26in braiding hair extensions used to create knotless braid style. This length on average stops at the bra hook & eye area /mid-back. Hair is provided for this style.

30in braiding hair extensions used to create knotless braid style. This length on average stops at the low back/waistline area. Hair is provided for this style.

This style consists of cornrows (8-10 braids max) in the front part of the head and curly/wavy crochet hair in the back. Hair is provided for this style.

Half Braids + Half Crochet Hair

Two rows around perimeter and top 4 braids at crown. 
Please come with hair unbraided. If you are unsure of which rows to unbraid please contact me.

Touch ups are recommended during week 3 or 4 of the braid style. Hair is included for this style. 

Do not book after week #4.

Medium Knotless Braids Touch Up

Take care of your hair while you're wearing a "protective style".

Ensure a clean, happy and healthy scalp when you book "Maintenance Check".

This is recommended during week 3 or 4 after service.

This style is achieved using Afro bulk hair. It’s smaller in size compared to the Cuban twists. 

Spring Twists 

This is a short length style. If you have long hair. Please consult prior to booking to make sure the right service is booked. Hair is provided. Color options: 1, 1b, 2.

Are you looking for a light weight two strand twist style? Cuban Twists may be just what you're looking for. This style starts with a twist at the root. It gives the illusion of your natural hair in two strand twists. 

The Cuban twist hair is included in this service. 

When booking please indicate the color you'd like. You can choose from:

1 - Black
1B - Natural Black
2 - Dark Brown
1B/30 - Natural Black w/ Brown Ends
1B/27 - Natural Black w/ Honey Blonde Ends

This is for the classic braiding base foundation. Hair is braided down in cornrows, braid pattern will be dependent on hair that is used. 

Crochet hair is not provided. 

Based on the type of crochet hair the recommended number of packs needed on average is 8 packs. 

Please note that this number will vary greatly based on the size of crochet and the look you're going for.

Classic Crochet Installation

This crochet installation is for individual installs around the perimeter of the head. Allows for you to pull the hair up in a ponytail. There are two options available to install. We will discuss which is best during consultation.

This is service uses the kids length braiding hair. Ideal for kids ages 4-8 years old.

Kids Small Knotless Braids

This style uses the kiddie length hair (X-Pression Lil Looks 32in) that's appropriate for kids ages 4-10. Parents, if you'd like a slightly longer length please let me know. Hair is provided for this service.
