Hypnotherapy can be an effective therapy for children and young people and is used to treat a wide range of issues, especially anxiety and fear-based problems, confidence and self-esteem building. Generally, children are imaginative and open to the use of hypnosis. Other issues it is effective in addressing include non-medical bed wetting (enuresis), soiling, sleep problems, food issues and pain management such as for IBS that has no medical cause.
