My name is April, a licensed massage therapist out of Belleville. As a  believer in promoting healing, my approach to massage is a therapeutic one. My aim is to calm your nervous system and to have you leaving feeling more relaxed than when you arrived. 

My practice offers: Prenatal, Swedish, Thai, Hot Stone, Therapeutic, Sports and Relaxation massages. I also offer a custom massage session which combines stretching, range of motion testing, trigger point therapy and Swedish techniques.

It’s a type of therapy aimed at decreasing the tension and stress that can develop in the soft tissues of the body during sports and various exercises. Unlike some types of therapeutic massage that are performed after an activity, sports massage therapy is also performed before and during the training or activity.

A sports therapy massage can help reduce stress on the body, increase range of motion and helps with injury recovery. It can also improve athletic performance and increases endurance. Sports and massage therapy is very similar to deep tissue massage and therapeutic massage.

Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage treatment that works the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health - creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system. Swedish massage therapy uses softer strokes on the bonier and more delicate parts of the body, and stronger strokes where there is thicker muscle coverage. This adjustment of pressure makes it an ideal massage for relaxation.

This service is for two people who want a massage one after another with one therapist. My couple's massage includes a 60 minute customized massage with hot stones. 
This can be booked as two hours with one therapist.

A deep tissue massage will typically focus on your primary areas of discomfort. The increased pressure helps to alleviate any soreness or imbalance caused by injury or tenseness. If you have anxiety or are suffering with stress, a deep tissue massage will help to release the tension you are carrying in your body as a result.

Deep Tissue Massage

This option is for really busy clients who may not have the time to come into the studio. I offer the same modalities for this service, up to 30 miles for your home, office or business. Including setup and takedown, this service is blocked for at least 1.5 hours. Relax and let us come to you!

Mobile Massage

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. The therapist will use range of motion, stretching and relaxation techniques during this massage. 

This type of massage enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. This gentle, noninvasive approach can ease discomfort associated with pregnancy, help the mother-to-be prepare for labor and give her nurturing emotional support.



Prenatal Massage

This service is for two people who want a massage at the same time or in the same booking period — with two massage therapists. My couple's massage includes a 60 minute customizable massage with hot stones. This can be booked between 1-2 hours.
