Four yoga sessions for a group of Women from different countries to explore yoga as a way of looking after yourself. Also learning asana and pranayama practice to be able to practice at home. The venue is Space at Broomhouse in Edinburgh. Tues 12.30-2pm.

Wellness Events

Yoga class includes asana practice, breathwork, deep relaxation and meditation. Regular yoga practice promoted good physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. This class is starting in November 2024.

This Holistic Massage treatment can help you in different ways, including relief from pain, increased energy, and improved sleep and mental wellbeing. It helps the nervous system to unwind by encouraging it out of the 'flight or fight' response into the 'rest and repair' state. 

I use a range of techniques, including Swedish massage, joint mobilisations, stretches and fascial release. My aim is to listen and respond to you and your body, first through the consultation process and then through what I discover while giving the massage, checking in with you throughout the whole process. 

The essence of relaxation
The relaxation response boosts the immune and digestive systems, lowers heart rate, breathing and blood pressure and creates the feeling that everything is okay. The essence of relaxation massage is to encourage the nervous system into this state through slow, deep, gentle work.

A deep tissue relaxation massage can help you in many different ways, including relief from pain, release of tension, increased energy as well as improved sleep and mental wellbeing. 

Why relaxation is key in massage
The body is made up of layers of skin, muscle and fascia, all of which can become tense and all of which need time to release. The nerves in each of these layers feed information back to the brain, including sensory input such as temperature and pressure, and also whether the environment is safe. If the brain gets the message that it isn’t, as in if pressure is applied too deeply and too quickly, the body registers it as a shock and the nerves tense the muscles.

Facial Massage treatment using Neal's Yard facial products: cleansing, toning, exfoliating, nourishing and massaging. Deeply nourishing and relaxing treatment. 

Holistic Facial Massage with Neal's Yard products 

One to one wellness session that aims to reach more balance and equilibrium within the body and mind. Massage, yoga, breathwork and mindfulness are offered and used depending on your individual needs.   

Wellbeing session

One-to-one yoga session to build strength, improve balance, increase flexibility. Tailored to your needs. 
Yoga practice includes asana, pranayama, relaxation, chanting, meditation. The venue is at the Craws Nest Collective or at Sinking Into Bliss. Advanced booking is required.
