Puppies are very special & we specialise in puppy behaviour & handling.  With over 30 years of puppy experience, we love puppies!
Pups need to learn the art of being groomed from a very young age with a gentle warm bath and gentle blow dry & an introduction to some basic scissoring & a nail trim.
Pups learn their basics before 16weeks old so ultimately three grooming sessions before pup is 16weeks old will set pup up for a lifetime of regular grooming.
Pups are taught how to sit on a grooming table, how to be bathed and dried, how to cope with electric clippers and scissors around their face and other delicate areas.
Pups are rewarded for good behaviour and we use our voice to train pups with amazing results.
Pups can come for their first groom after their first vaccination at 6-8wks of age.
Ultimately a puppy groom at 10 weeks followed by 2 more, 2 weeks apart and we will have your little angel loving their Salty Dog Salon Experience.

For the well maintained pooch.
The coat is Scissored and Styled to your chosen length after a chat with our Senior Stylist to advise what is achievable for your fur baby.
Longer styles are high maintenance and regular trimming and daily brushing is recommended.

On Trend!  This Teddy Bear look sports a tight, short body with longer styled legs, head and face.
Face is trimmed round with shorter ears.

Starting with a full body check and warm cuddles & treats.
Coat is prepped before heading to the bathing room smelling of calming essential oils.
Double shampoo, deluxe deep conditioning coconut & salt treatment with a full body massage and warm towel therapy.
Blueberry facial to add to the serenity and tackle those tear stains.  Head massage & warm towel wrap.
Warm hand blow dry and coat is coiffed to perfection to your style, including clipping, scissoring or stripping after consultation with our senior stylist.
Teeth brushed, ears cleaned & your pooch will then enjoy our signature Pawdicure with nails trimmed and buffed, paw balm massaged into pads to soothe cracked or dry pads. +/- polish.
 Please allow 3 hours for small/medium - 4 hours large/xlge.
Short fur?  No clipping necessary?  We will deshed instead & take off $ depending on fur type - ask our staff for a quote.

Using specialised equipment & tools, the coat is prepped before heading off to our hydrobath which uses jets to help stimulate the release of dead fur.
Our de-shedding shampoo is used and a conditioning treatment to nourish the skin & fur. The coat is high velocity dried to blast out loose fur and brushed to perfection. Based on short – medium single & double coats.

Performed by an experienced & qualified VN, teeth are scaled by hand, then cleaned with an ultrasonic scaler & then polished. Gums and mouth are treated with an antibacterial treatment.  
Leaving your friend with that Fresh Breath Ring of Confidence.
Just like us humans going to the dentist for a clean.
No drugs are used, just lots of cuddles & calm.
Some dogs say no but most relax once they feel confident with us and allow us to work in their mouth.
Dogs need to be fairly calm in nature & used to being handled.
