Another good session with Shevane. Learning a lot about making turns and reversing.

Today's session was great. Really learnt alot and about the vehicle itself and the first steps in driving. It was a smooth session, looking forward to the next. Big up to the instructor Shevane..

This was my first driving lesson, and I hadn't been behind the wheel in three years. I'd also never driven on Jamaican roads, so I was definitely nervous. The instructor started by introducing me to the parts of the car, which was surprisingly useful. Understanding the vehicle before getting on the road makes a lot of sense. We also covered some driving, which eased me into making turns, using my mirrors, and getting comfortable behind the wheel. Looking forward to seeing my progress over the next few lessons. 🚗

Today we covered reversing, turns and brake control—the kind of control where our passengers won't be thrown through the windshield. 😅 Gentle braking is definitely a skill! It was also my first time driving an actual bus, and I even completed a three-point turn. The clear instruction and continued practice are what will help build my competence and confidence, and I'm keen to see how I'll progress. Coming soon to a road near you... 🤣🚌

He's very amiable and gives great analogies to help you understand what he's explaining.
