Kapiti Neuro Therapy Centre provides practical support and therapies to help manage the symptoms of a wide range of neurological conditions. Neuro diversities often seen at our centre are learning and behavioural difficulties, complex disorders, autism spectrum disorder, social/separation anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and general trauma recovery. Neurotherapy has long been recognised as an effective neuro treatment and involves techniques designed to stimulate brain waves through non-invasive means. At our center, we provide a comforting atmosphere where clients are encouraged to express their emotions through artistic means. This approach allows individuals to explore and process their worries or hurts in a safe and supportive setting, fostering healing and emotional growth.

Our child-centered art therapy environment is designed to cater to children, teenagers, and adults alike. Through the medium of art, our clients can communicate their emotions non-verbally, experiencing a sense of liberation and connection with their inner selves. Many of our clients find that expressing themselves through art helps them release pent-up emotions and embark on a journey of healing from past traumas.

This is a comprehensive meeting, we will gather and read information about our client's situation before the meeting, we will then meet with you, show you our premises, discuss the therapy plan, therapy ability, Funding, and Diagnostic process and will answer all your questions. After the meeting, we will send you a summary of the meeting and discuss a plan forward to support you and your child. 

Client Introductory Meeting - in person or over Zoom 

This is a comprehensive meeting, in this meeting, we discuss the most common signs of Neurodiversity, like sleep problems, challenges with transitions, challenges with focus and concentration, challenges with social interactions, emotional regulation difficulties, feeling overwhelmed, difficulty finishing task and more.

We advise you the best way forward for you and your child. You may like to have clarity if your child is on the neurodiverse spectrum and like to understand the process of a Clinical Diagnostic.

You may like to have an Educational Assessment to find out if your child has Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, dyspraxia or Dyspraxia.

If you after this meeting would like to go ahead with an assessment we will then support you through the process, we will make the referral for you and support you through the diagnostic process.

We provide hope after diagnosis and help you to understand how you can support your child.
