My philosophies on Remedial Massage Therapy stem from a thorough assessment phase. Once we identify the dysfunctional tissues we can then tailor a treatment plan to successfully treat the area. The plan may involve providing more mobility to a particular joint by rebooting the muscle to its natural length and tone, or it may be achieved by identifying a hyper-mobile area that requires increased strength and stability. These therapies are not there to simply chase away pain. Within our treatments we aim to find the systemic cause of the pain, treat the issue within our clinic and arm you with self-mobilisation, stretching and strengthening exercises to proactively reduce and remove the pain for good. We endeavour to educate our clients about proactive self-treatment practises....
