Ear candles are rolled up tubes of linen coated with beeswax, honey and herbal extracts. Mine are fitted with a filter to prevent candle residue from falling in to the ears. The candle is gently inserted into the ear whilst client is laying on their side. The process is repeated on the other side and then a facial drainage massage given.

This is a very relaxing treatment. When lit, the candle acts as a chimney, providing warmth and a massaging effect on the eardrum and ossicle bones. This can lead to a change in pressure in congested areas, helping to;

Balance pressure in the ears and sinuses
Ease breathing, glue ear, vertigo, swimmers ear, dizziness, hayfever
Improve sense of smell
Reduce headaches, tinnitus, snoring and migraines
Loosens wax
