A consultation is a fantastic way to get started with deepening your understanding and knowledge of your skin, the products that may be harming it and what is likely to work best. This includes a full skin care assessment, a review of the products you have been using, what your current skin concerns are, what you have previously tried and your medical history to give a comprehensive understanding of you and your skin. 

You will come away with a framework of skincare products suitable for your skin type and concern, aligned to your budget as well as recommendations on which skin treatments would be helpful for you to meet your skin and aesthetic goals.

General Skin Consultation

It is mandatory to have a face to face consultation before any Botox is prescribed. This will be refunded against treatment should you go ahead with it. 

Not everyone is suitable for Botox treatment. For example those with very heavy eyes and brows wishing to have their forehead treated. This can make the forehead feel very heavy, lead to more hooding in the eyes and difficulty putting on make up. It may not therefore enhance the clients beauty in certain circumstances. Those who want a lip flip for example, may not realize it can alter speech because of not being able to bring the lips together very well. It also has a very subtle effect. 

Therefore we assess all aspects of the muscles when you come to the clinic so that we can ensure you are not surprised or disappointed with results!

Botox Consultation

Hair loss can be for a multitude of reasons and therefore it is important to find out the exact cause before starting any treatments. In this consultation we discuss a thorough history and treatment plan including nutrition, supplements, topical products, prescription products and in clinic treatments. Hair loss treatment is usually a multi pronged attack and takes some months.

This is a non invasive formula that enhances microcirculation, boosts collagen and elastin production for firmer youthful skin. Suitable for all Fitzpatrick types, pregnancy, mature skin and signs of aging.

There is an instant lifting and firming feel to the skin due to increased fibroblast activity. The mask contains three different types of collagen along with over 10 peptides including pentapeptide and copper peptides. Arginine and adenosine increase cellular energy and regeneration of the skin. Botanical extracts like Sea Buckthorn shield from oxidative stress due to their anti-oxidant properties. Botox is a safe and effective treatment for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, improving facial shape and reducing jowling. It's effects are temporary, usually lasting 3-4 months with conventional Botox formulations. It leaves the face looking more youthful and helps to prevent lines deepening and becoming more static. If you already have lines at rest (static lines), this product can soften these lines. High quality, pharmacy grade Botox is used with invisible needles to improve comfort.

Some patients have larger masseter muscles which causes the jaw to appear squared. This can be less feminine for some patients and they become self conscious about it. Therefore Botox can be used to reduce the muscle bulk improving the overall shape of the face to a more heart shaped, which is naturally more feminine. However, there are some people who are not suitable for this treatment due to the complex nature of muscles around the jaw and this needs to be discussed at a consultation before booking in for this treatment.

Therefore these muscles can be relaxed to help with the jawline and also the prominence of the muscle. It does not however, lift much and other treatments may be required if there is laxity in the skin.

A whole face approach to filler results in a balanced, rejuvenated, refreshed look, where all proportions are blended and improved, to truly feel like yourself again. Doing individual treatments here and there can lead to a disconnect between each area of the face resulting in some areas looking fresh and rejuvenated, but other areas not quite matching. 

The Beautification and facial balancing package assess the whole face and how each component fits with each other, resulting in better filler economy as this can be spread across the face in strategic areas to blend and balance all features but still look like yourself.

Cheek filler is a transforming treatment to help improve volume, contour and give an appearance of lifting in the mid face. The cheek fat pads are large and are a key area of volume loss during aging.   This leads to sagging of the face and deepening of the nose to mouth lines. Replacing volume here often restores a more youthful look to the face. 

Results are immediate with minimal downtime. The results last around 12-24 months depending on the filler and the patient's metabolism.

Corner of the mouth lines or marionette lines are a common concern and related to a few different factors. As we age there is volume loss in the fat  pads, but also bone loss around the mouth and jaw, alongside skin laxity. It is a complex interaction which filler can help with, but is not the only solution. Many clients need help with skin quality and laxity as well as volume loss. This is why a consultation is important to discuss whether filler is the correct modality in this area. 

Filler can help with blending and softening of the lines in this area and can be used alongside other skin tightening and skin quality treatment. Results can last 9-18 months depending on filer type and patient metabolism.

Marionette lines and perioral rejuvenation

The nasolabial folds are generally caused by volume loss in the cheek area as well as skin laxity and overall aging. It is therefore important not to treat this area in isolation of other areas of the face. The addition of filler all the way down the line can, over time, lead to heaviness in this area and make the line worse. It is therefore important to have a consultation to review skin quality, laxity, areas of volume loss surrounding this area and review other treatments that may be required as part of overall facial balancing.

Chin and jaw filler help to alter the shape and proportion of the chin and jaw in relation to the rest of the face which can have a transformative effect. A recessed or shortened jaw can be improved, leading to a more heart shaped face and therefore more feminine shape, or a squarer more defined shape, resulting in a more masculine face. The overall proportion and balance of the face is improved.

This can help those who are considering surgical management, review what it is like before having something permanent. 

However, it comes with risks, especially if you have had any previous trauma to this area. Your blood vessels may not be in the expected place, which puts you at  higher risk of complications. It is really key to have a consultation regarding this before signing up.

Tear trough filler can be transformative with regards to the under eye area. However, it is definitely not suitable for everyone. There are key factors to consider when filling this area, otherwise patients can be left with bags and poor results. It is key to have a consultation therefore. Only premium fillers are used in this area to reduce the risk of complications. 

Fillers have to be very thin and as a result breakdown more easily in this area. So results will last around 9-12 months on average. Other factors that play a key role in this area is the quality of skin which filler doesn't generally help. So other options such as microneedling, polynucleotides and skin boosters need to be considered.

Tear Trough filler

Sometimes, filler needs to be dissolved especially if more product has been added over time and is now starting to look unnatural. Ultrasound is used as part of the dissolving treatment, to review the location of the filler and ensure as much as possible is dissolved in one session.

Dissolving has to be done first and a gap of ideally 4 weeks before refilling. This is because the dissolving also dissolves some of your own natural hyaluronic acid and this recovers slowly. By leaving that time, the chance of over filling is reduced, inflammation is reduced and an accurate view of the shape of the tissues can be assessed allowing for a better result. Prices will vary depending on the size of area that needs dissolving and location.

There is some down time with redness of the skin after treatment, however this is minimized with facial mask +/- LED after treatment. the redness tends to last 12-24 hours.



RF Microneedling

High Intensity Focused Ultrasound is a non-invasive treatment aimed at skin tightening and rejuvenation. The ultrasound waves penetrate all layers of the skin including the deeper layers to simulate collagen production and helps to tighten and lift the skin. It is important however, to have realistic expectations of the device which is why a consultation first is essential. Some patients require 1 session whilst others require 3. There is a maximum of 3 sessions initially with one annual treatment required for maintenance. 

HIFU - High Intensity Focused Ultrasound
