Hi! I'm Chrissy, a licensed hair stylist in the state of Michigan. Currently, I operate 32486 Gratiot Ave. in Roseville, MI. My salon is an evolving education salon that focuses on the care of your real hair in its natural state. Currently, I am only servicing natural hair clients, but I hope to expand in the future to take care of those with chemically relaxed needs. For my ladies that don't want to get a relaxer, but are looking for their presses to last longer or you are wanting your natural curls to be more manageable, a smoothing treatment is perfect for you! 

This smoothing treatment uses amino acids in order to aid in anti-swelling due to humidity and sweating. This is NOT a relaxer that will straighten your hair, your natural curls will remain. 

The treatment lasts 3 months and can be re-applied after the 3 month period. 

Perfect for summer silk press wearers, those that work out, heavy sweaters and those that want to wear their natural curls without a lot of frizz!

Natural hair is box braided with the top of head having boho box braids. (Boho means that some of the hair is left out of the braid so that the hair can have a curly braided look). Includes shampoo and treatment

Smaller two-strands, best for clients with thicker hair densities. Includes shampoo and treatment.

Natural hair is braided into a medium-large box braid style. Includes shampoo and treatment

Cornrows: Hair is cornrowed and style is worn down. 

Cornrows with beads: Adult version of braids with beads. Beads not provided.

Braided front with styled back: The front of the hair is braided in front and secured with rubber back and the hair is styled in the back by either curling, wet set or worn naturally.

Been feeling like your scalp is clogged up? Help is here. This is for clients with very itchy scalps, dandruff and various scalp conditions that require for flakes/scaling to be removed from scalp. Included is a flake removal, pre-cleanse applied to the scalp, an anti-itch/anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioning service. This service DOES NOT come with a style, please select the Add-On option if you want your hair styled. 

Please note: I cannot service a scalp that has any bleeding, sores or pus coming out of the scalp. This service does not include a diagnosis of a scalp condition, as I am not a dermatologist and am not qualified to diagnose or “treat” scalp conditions. A dermatologist is recommended for diagnosis.

Stand-alone: Detailed scalp detox and flake removal for flaky and/or itchy scalps

Add On: Detailed scalp detox and flake removal for flaky and/or itchy scalps

This treatment is for clients that are experiencing breakage, hair feels limp and lifeless or you want to give your hair an overall refresh. Great treatment for first time clients!

Restoration Treatment

Dry scalp treatment: a pre-service and conditioning service to address dry scalps. If you have flakes and need them to be lifted off of the scalp, book the Detox Scalp Treatment.

Dry Scalp Treatment

For my ladies and gentleman that may not have a lot of hair up there, whether by choice or not, you can still come in to get your scalp treated to a scalp scrub, a steam treatment and an oil massage.

Permanent color retouch 

A clear coating applied to give the hair an added boost of shine to your style. Great for silk press clients!

Gloss shine

Natural hair colors. Temporary gray coverage that will fade after a few shampoos; good for those with only a few strands of gray hair. 

Semi permanent color

Must be booked at minimum of 24 hours before coloring appointment for DEMI and PERMANENT haircolor services. 

CANNOT be booked for a FIRST TIME client. 

Color consultation - MUST BOOK FOR DEMI AND PERMANENT COLORS

Provides more lasting gray coverage than a semipermant, can also provide a more subtle color change.

Price starts at $80 per bowl. 

Color consultation must be booked with this service.

Demi permanent hair color

A one color process suggested for maximum gray coverage or for a color change. 

Pricing starts at $115 per bowl used. 

A color consultation is required before booking this service. 

Permanent hair color

Detangling should be safely done prior to sitting in the styling chair. 

** CANNOT be booked as a single service, this is an add-on. 

Once I start the client’s appointment, if the hair is not properly detangled, this fee will apply for hair that is severely tangled or matted.

Price starts at $30 per 30 minutes.

Braiding hair is shampooed and dried to remove chemicals from braiding hair: $5 per pack.

MINIMUM of 3 packs/bundles of hair. 

Hair must be brought in at least 3 days prior to braiding appointment.

Consultation to discuss hair loss and scalp disorder that client is experiencing.

I do not offer these services currently, but I can take down your quickweave or sew-in safely and treat your hair for your next style. 

The service comes with a takedown + shampoo + strengthening hydration treatment + scalp massage + blowdry + two braids.

This is a hands on class for mommy and daughter (under 13). My current clientele is for ages 13 and up, but I don't want to leave out the children! We will have a consultation about your child's hair concerns, then learn ways to properly detangle, cleanse and moisturize your child's hair properly.  The ending style will be a wash and go or two strand twist. 

Mommy and Me Hair Care

This is a hands on class where we will have a consultation about your hair, then you will learn how to properly detangle, cleanse, moisturize and style your hair for a wash and go at home.
