Glabellar lines (frown lines) are the vertical creases that appear between the eyebrows (I I -Lines), generating a tired or angry look.

By injecting this area correctly you will still be able to show emotion but without wrinkles that leads to tired looking, aging skin.

This treatment targets the frontalis muscle that is activated when elevating the eyebrows. This action causes dynamic wrinkles of the forehead that results in static lines as we age. 

By injecting the frontalis muscle correctly, you will still be able to elevate your eyebrows and show emotion, however no wrinkles will appear. Resulting in a natural, youthful appearance.
 
Remember: the forehead cannot be injected alone, we need to include the frown (glabellar area) to prevent sagging of the brows and to maintain a natural look.

These lines start from the corner of your eyes and radiate all the way to your temples and upper cheeks, looking like the claws of a bird.

A small amount of Botulinum Toxin is injected into the muscles around the eye to relax the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles that eventually result in static wrinkles. 

This in turn, relaxes the skin on top of these muscles and smoothing out smile lines around your eyes, giving a more rested, youthful appearance and smoothes out make up application.

Treatment for teeth grinding, clenching, overactive jaw muscle resulting in muscular jaw line and bulking of face:

Treatment involves injecting Botulinum Toxin Type A into the masseter muscles; the powerful muscles located at the back of your jaw that extends from the zygomatic arch (cheekbone) to the lower border of the mandible (lower jawbone).

The masseter works in conjunction with three other muscles of mastication to elevate and close the mandible. This action is essential for biting, clenching and maintaining the stability of the jaw.

Treatment results in the relaxation of the overactive jaw muscle and should not have a major impact on biting or chewing.

This leads to a slimmer and more angular facial structure and reduces any associated tension and discomfort of overactive jaw muscles.


Masseter 

Excessive sweating has a medical term known as hyperhidrosis. 

Axillary hyperhidrosis is characterised by an increased amount of sweat production localised to the armpits that occurs even when not active or when not exposed to warm temperatures.

Hyperhidrosis can become embarrassing and stressful when it impacts your daily life. 

Botulinum toxin A has been FDA-approved to treat hyperhidrosis and is very effective. Small amounts are injected into the skin to block the nerve signal supplying the eccrine gland (sweat gland) and thus prevents the glands from producing sweat.

For first time treatments, results can last up to 6-7 months, but over time, you can go longer between treatments.

Axillary hyperhidrosis 

Indicated for the prophylaxis of headaches in adult patients with chronic migraine (≥15 days per month with headache lasting 4 hours a day or longer). 

With more than 10-years of research since FDA approval. Treatment prevents, on average, 8 to 9 headache days and migraine/probable migraine days a month.

TOTAL DOSE: 155 Units divided between 31 sites across 7 specific head and neck muscle areas that may be associated with migraine.

Sites include:  Glabella complex (corrugators and procerus) , frontalis, temporals, occipitals, cervical paraspinals and trapezius

The hyaluronic acid used in fillers is stabilised to make it last longer. The effect isn’t permanent, the filler will gradually be broken down by the body’s enzymes.
Cheek fillers are used to obtain a more 'snatched' look, even out eye wrinkles, reduce marionette lines and to obtain an over-all facial slimming effect.

With age our lips start to thin and demonstrate less fullness and projection. There is a loss of dental and structural support in the lower face. This volume loss typically affects the lips and corners of the mouth. As these areas become less plump, they wrinkle, and the mouth starts to sag. This tends to give an "angry" look.

During this procedure, filler is injected into the lips and around the mouth to restore a luscious, fuller, natural and more youthful lip.

The amount of filler and technique used is personalised to each patients facial anatomy, goals and personality.
