We offer the service to collect semen, chill and ship. The service includes the collection of the semen from the stud dog, analysis to ensure the quality of the specimen and then completing the chilling process using Caniplus LT. Once this has been complete the chilled semen is then prepared and package ready to be shipped to the destination of your requirement by tracked shipping.

Semen collection and analysis under a microscope, to evaluate the quality and quantity of sperm being produced. A single semen sample may not be representative of a male’s semen quality. We recommend collecting multiple samples several days to weeks apart to evaluate any abnormalities.

Fully trained by Peddymark, we offer onsite and offsite (with an additional small charge) microchipping for dogs, cats and whole litters at a competitive price using some of the best microchips on the market. Registration is with well known databases such as Petlog, PETtrac and Animal Tracker.

Identification

Canine pregnancy scanning using a veterinary grade ultrasound scanner, is performed predominantly to detect pregnancy from 28 days although 31 - 33 days is better.  I am fully trained and a member of the Animal Ultrasound Association.

The scan involves a detailed examination of the abdomen to confirm pregnancy, advise of any signs of concern and advise of estimated* gestational sacs with viable foetus.

Ovulation test. 

Cytology is where a sample of epithelial cells are collected from a vaginal smear by inserting a sterile cotton swab through the vulva into the vaginal canal, avoiding the vestibule. 

The cells are then prepared onto a microscope slide and viewed to determine the stage of Estrous Cycle. 

Cytology is performed to indicate the best timing for mating your bitch.
