Being HCPC Registered Podiatrists, we are also licensed to carry out procedures for verruca and ingrown toenails using local anaesthetics.

Nails / Corns / Callus.
Initial consultation and treatment.  During the treatment, we take a full medical history and check your vascular and neurological status (arteries and nerves), to ensure there are no other underlying issues.  Nails will be cut,  filed and treated, any corns will be removed and any callus (hard skin) will be debrided  (removed).  If you have a verruca or thickened or fungal nails, these will be dealt with at this appointment and a full treatment plan discussed with you for ongoing care.  The 40 minute treatment ends with the application of a foot cream for your foot needs.  

NEW PATIENT - Routine Chiropody consultation & treatment - (incl. fungal nail / verruca / corns / hard skin) in Clinic

For clients who have previously attended this clinic for a verruca assessment. 
This is a continuation of the treatment plan devised at your assessment, and an opportunity for your podiatrist to monitor progress. 

Verruca treatment (Palliative care) subsequent visits (NOT VERRUTOP)

During a Medical Pedicure A, the nails will be cut,  filed and treated, any corns will be removed and any callus (hard skin) will be debrided (removed).  If you have thickened or fungal nails, these will be dealt with at this appointment and a full treatment plan devised with you for ongoing care.  A lime and ginger foot scrub is then applied to the feet and the feet are placed in the mineral spa for a skin softening experience.  Following the spa, the feet are  treated with a re-hydrating foot masque, whilst the lower legs (up to the knee) are massaged with luxurious rehydrating creams.  The treatment ends with a foot massage and the application of nail oil.

Suitable for men and women.  New and existing patients.  Please note this treatment is more of a medical procedure rather than a beauty pedicure

MSK Follow Up

At a MSK assessment, is for people who have acute pain of recent onset.  We will look at what is causing your pain, be it muscular, skeletal, tendon or ligament related.  We will assess and diagnose what may be causing your problem using a variety of tests.  From our diagnosis, we can devise a treatment plan, and possible course of laser therapy, acupuncture or joint mobilisation.  Orthotics may be indicated (you may need to attend again for a full biomechanical assessment / gait analysis to see you in both static and dynamic views). Please bring any trainers and every day shoes you wear, also any insoles (if applicable) to this appointment.

Looking at the way the child walks, discussing any pain the child may be experiencing.  Looking briefly at the gait of a child.  This does not include veruccas or skin / nail issues. If further treatment is recommended your podiatrist will advise on this as well.

If you have painful ingrowing toenails they will be fully assessed and treatment options discussed. Where possible your podiatrist will treat the nail at this appointment,  however for complicated or persistent ingrown nails they may recommend a surgical procedure to permanently solve the issue. In this case the initial pre operative assessment will be done, and a surgery date (not included in assessment price) given.

Your podiatrist will assess your verruca and discuss the various treatment options available. For painful verrucas we can remove the overlying hard skin to make walking more comfortable.

Verucca treatment palliative care NEW PATIENT (1st visit) (NOT VERRUTOP)

Some verrucas are resistant to topical treatments, and a more invasive procedure is needed to resolve it. During this appointment  your podiatrist will assess the verucca (no treatment given) and carry out necessary checks to confirm you are suitable for this treatment, discuss the needling procedure  and complete preoperative paperwork.  The procedure will then be booked in for you at a subsequent appointment.
