I am a fully qualified and registered Beauty Therapist. I studied at the Wellington School of Beauty Therapy in 2007 and graduated with a Diploma in Beauty Therapy, CIBTAC. While raising a young family I worked evenings in a salon in Lower Hutt before building my ultimate dream of owning and operating my very own piece of heaven, Beauty @ Home. I am located in a quiet, welcoming home environment that provides a warm and peaceful room to leave all your cares behind. There is plenty of free parking and easy access along a flat section. My philosophy is to protect the skin from the elements by using a skincare line, Environ, that’s rich in vitamins. Vitamin A is vital for healthy skin. Environ presents a high concentration of Vitamin A that is part of our natural skin. Vitamin A becomes deficient due to sun damage and/or free-radical destruction and has been proven to help reverse almost all signs of exposure to harsh sunlight. Vitamin A aids in healthier skin cells, strengthens and regulates skin colour, and improves natural moisturisation. Vitamin A also stimulates collagen production that is essential for firm skin. Application of an active Vitamin A cream can restore the normal levels within hours. Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’S) also play a major part in Environ skincare. It helps improve the quality of the skin and also augment the beneficial effects of Vitamin A. New Zealand sun is the strongest in the world so sun care is not a luxury, it is a necessity.
