Aromatherapy offers a range of benefits by using essential oils to improve well-being. These benefits include stress reduction, improved sleep, pain management, and enhanced mood. Aromatherapy can be incorporated into massage and reflexology, used in diffusers and inhaled, providing a holistic approach to physical, mental, and emotional health. Add aromatherapy to your treatment to enhance your wellbeing. 

Please remember to fully complete the sections in the consultation form where it asks about oil preferences and allergies (if you have any). This will help your therapist to provide you with safe and effective blends. 

Aromatherapy (Add On) 

Typically Indian Head Massage is offered seated. In this treatment, things are a little different - with you lying down on the massage table. You still get the same amazing treatment, except this way your therapist can work deeper into your scalp and muscles. 

This treatment will mostly differ to a regular neck and shoulders massage because it: 
- Uses different techniques and oils
- Treats the shoulders, neck, head, scalp, hair and face  

Indian head massage can help to relieve tension and aches/pains, encourage relaxation, improve/uplift mood, aid sleep, improve skin condition, hair condition and help energy levels. If you need pure relaxation but want more than a facial, this treatment is the one for you!

If you have heard of reiki but you don't know what its about, this might be the option for you. Reiki is an alternative, non-invasive, healing method (developed in Japan), where the therapist channels energy though their hands which will help rebalance your body and mind. When the therapist places or hovers their hands on/over areas of your body to pick up on and balance energy, you will be fully clothed. You will often by lying down on a massage table. Sometimes people become more aware of their body and experience new feelings/sensations. 

After a reiki session, often people feel more relaxed but sometimes people can become more emotional (this does level out with time).  While the evidence around the benefits of reiki is limited, there are a few small studies that suggest that reiki has the potential to improve physical and emotional wellbeing. Experiences differ from client to client. 

Please do not use reiki in replacement of medical care. Consult your GP.

Book this if you would like products made for you that can assist with your physical and mental wellbeing. This treatment includes a consultation, in person or online, allowing you to explain what it is you feel you need e.g. a reduction in anxiety and an increase in sleep. The therapist then, based on your preferences of scents and mediums, will go away and make your aromatherapy items. 
Aromatherapy item examples: bath salts, massage oil, creams and lotions, pulse point roller balls, inhalers, sprays and more! 

There will be an additional charge for your items, depending on the chosen options. This will be discussed in your appointment. Charges may range from £5-£30 per item. Please note, the products are for collection only (Ninety-One, Winchester), as they have not posted well in the past! Please only book this for yourself, not for someone else, due to the nature of safely blending oils with a full medical history.
