One concern that is very common with this procedure is that the hair will grow back darker and thicker…. WRONG! Shaving does not cause hair to grow back thicker, the fact is the hair shaved now has a dull tip. If the hair has been shaved, the dull edge can appear thicker than the pointed tip, but it is not necessarily larger.
