Hi, thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear the treatment didn’t meet your expectations. Deep tissue massage is designed to target deeper muscle tension and knots, which can sometimes feel more intense during or after the session, especially if the area is already inflamed. Mild soreness can happen before the muscles begin to release and improve. That said, pressure should always be adjusted to your comfort, and clients are encouraged to communicate if they’d like more or less intensity or focus on specific areas. Lucy’s Spa is a small independent space and Lucy manages treatments and welcoming clients herself, which may require briefly opening the door near the end of a session. However, we appreciate your comments and will take them on board. Your comfort is important to us, and we’re always open to improving our service.

It was noisy, so if you are expecting something calm and relaxing, you will not find that. My back did hurt now it hurts more, I know that it is a deep tissue but I did get a deep tissue before, it doesn’t hurt like that. No consultation over the painful areas, she just went in without asking. Also she was on her phone while doing the massage. I had good expectations I don’t know why it happened like that. Also uses tooooo much oil. 

Brilliant, Lucy is so nice, friendly and funny and so good at her job.
