Wasn’t what it used to be. I used a Fresha reward to pay for pat of the treatment in advance, but was asked to pay it again. I didn’t make a fuss because another customer has just walked in on me without my underwear on in the treatment room. If anything I would have expected some kind of recompense, not having to pay over the odds. I just wanted to get out of there and won’t be returning, which is a shame as I used to visit the salon very regularly.

Hi Georgina, it’s Ellie, the salon owner. I’ve looked into this and I’m genuinely sorry the treatment room door was briefly opened during your appointment. Andreia simply forgot to lock it and another client mistook it for the toilet. She apologised immediately, and you reassured her several times by saying, “Honestly, it’s fine, nobody saw anything, don’t worry.” You also kindly left her a tip, so she believed you had left happy. I’m sorry to learn you felt differently afterwards. Regarding your Fresha rewards, these are applied manually once the qualifying milestone is reached. You were charged correctly. Having checked your account, your previous visit was in August 2025, so no reward was available. We’ve since put measures in place to ensure treatment room doors remain secure. We value all feedback and are proud to have over 2000 five-star Fresha reviews built on listening to our clients. Many thanks
