In an hour's treatment, you can choose between the following options: 

1. We go through as much of the body as possible in 1 hour
2. We focus on 1-3 areas of the body.
3. We focus on any areas that need remedial work and then we start working on other areas of the body that might have been affected by any pains/injuries. We see how long each area of the body takes to release, and if we see that we have more time we move on to the next affected areas. 
4. You always have the option to ask your therapist to do whatever would be most relaxing in the length of treatment that you have

You should expect:
- a quick consultation (to reduce the time of the consultation please complete your consultation form with as much detail as possible before your treatment; generally consultations will be shorter for existing/regular clients), 
- a minimum of 45 minutes treatment, and 
- 5 minutes relaxation at the end, where you let the body assimilate the effects of the treatment. 

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage

Short sessions are available to suit client needs, as appropriate. In a 30-minute session we usually focus on one part of the body, e.g. the right shoulder, or two parts of the body, e.g. right shoulder & left hip. 

Alternatively, we can work on general relaxation, massage, mobilise and stretch whichever parts of the body are most important/in a way that is most appropriate to the client without staying too long in any one area, and see how far we can get in the duration of your treatment. 

Expect a 10-minute brief consultation and changing time (it might be less, it is possible that it might take longer), and usually 20 minutes minimum of Ayurvedic Yoga Massage treatment in a 30-minute appointment. Ideally fill in your consultation and health form in as much detail as possible in advance, reducing the consultation time during your session. Consultation times will generally be longer for new clients, and shorter for existing/regular clients.

In your 45 minute treatment you can choose to cover one area of the body, e.g the back and top of the shoulders, or the legs. Alternatively, we can focus on 1-3 areas where you need remedial work, for example the right shoulder, or one shoulder and one hip, or both knees. Or another option is to ask your therapist to spend the whole treatment time doing whatever they think would be most relaxing for you.

- a minimum of 30 minutes treatment, and 
- 5 minutes relaxation at the end, where you let the body assimilate the effects of the treatment. 

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage: short treatment

In a 75 minute treatment, you can choose between the following options: 

1. A full body treatment, where we don't stay in any parts of the body for too long, we just make sure everything is warmed up, softened, circulation activated, nervous system relaxed and massage and stretches of all major muscles and joints.
2. We focus on 1-3 areas of the body, 
3. We focus on the areas that need remedial work, then we work on other areas of the body that may have been affected by any pains/injuries. We see how long each area of the body takes to release, if we see that we have more time we move on to the next affected areas. 
4. You always have the option to ask your therapist to do whatever would be most relaxing in the length of treatment that you have

You should expect:
- a short consultation
- a minimum of 60 minutes treatment, and 
- 5 minutes relaxation at the end, where you let the body assimilate the effects of the treatment. 

In a 90 minute treatment, you can choose between the following options: 

1. A full body treatment, where we can stay in 1-2 parts of the body a little longer, as necessary. We make sure everything is warmed up, softened, circulation will be easier, the nervous system relaxed through and massage and stretches of all major muscles and joints received. We will either have time to work deeper in 1-2 parts of the body, e.g. shoulders or low back and hip flexors, or we will spread the extra time more evenly, as best serves your needs on the day. 
2. We start by focusing on the tightest areas of the body, see how long the body takes to release; and then move to the second tightest area, the third tightest and so on. 
3. This is a great length of treatment for focusing on relaxation for clients who feel agitated or stressed, or for helping to energise clients who feel low energy. 

You should expect:
- a quick consultation 
- a minimum of 70 minutes treatment, and 
- 5-10 minutes relaxation

Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (traditional AYM treatment length, recommended for new clients)

In an 120 minute treatment, we usually have the time to work with the whole body, staying in any areas that need extra work. Any extra time can be spent on deeper work in areas that need it, or on more stretches, tractions and mobilisations to create a deeper feeling of relaxation and wellbeing.  

You should expect:
- a quick consultation (to reduce the time of the consultation please complete your consultation form with as much detail as possible before your treatment; generally consultations will be shorter for existing/regular clients), 
- a minimum of 105 minutes treatment, and 
- 8-10 minutes relaxation at the end (as appropriate for the client), where we let the body assimilate the effects of the treatment.
