Taking advantage of the skins ability to heal itself , it causes micro injuries to the epidermis , which signals the body to produce collagen to remodel the damaged area which in effect rejuvenates the skin making skin look younger and fresher . 
Benefits include visible results of skin rejuvenation are generally seen 4/6 weeks and improve further over time. 
A course of 3-6 treatments is usually recommended to achieve optimum results . 
Numbing cream is an option with this treatment.
