The wax is a natural emollient, helping make skin supple and soft. When applied to the skin, it adds moisture and continues to boost the moisture levels of the skin after the treatment is complete. Manual Lymphatic drainage (MLD), relieves swelling that can occur when medical treatment or illness blocks your lymphatic system. MLD involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to help lymph move to an area with working lymph vessels.
MLD is often recommended by surgeons both before and after an operation - pre surgery to improve circulation facilitating a faster recovery and post surgery as it facilitates moving lymph fluid by gently directing it back into the lymph vessels, reducing the swelling, fluid retention  and pain after the surgery. It can also help minimise scarring. 
Please note that for post surgery and post cancer treatments, a letter from your consultant is required
MLD is a very subtle and slow treatment that has enormous benefits.

Shower, shave and exfoliate 24 hours before, and NOT right before. Exfoliating the skin is the most important step for a flawless tan outcome! Avoid wearing any lotion, deodorant, makeup or any products to your session.
