PDO threads have been around the longest of the three and have been used in surgeries since the 1980s. They’re made from a colorless polyester that breaks down in your body after about 6 months.

The presence of these sutures in your skin triggers cells in your body called fibroblasts to produce more collagen. Collagen is the protein that gives your skin its structure and elasticity. Loss of collagen is one of the main causes of aging skin.

PDO threads can be further divided into three categories:

- PDO mono threads. Smooth sutures that help rejuvenate your skin by stimulating collagen production.
- PDO cog threads. These threads have barbs that latch into your skin like small fishhooks, to provide support and lift parts of your face.

Microneedling aka Collagen Induction Therapy involves the use of tiny sterile needles to create micro-punctures in the skin to stimulate the wound healing process in the dermis without causing significant damage to the epidermis. Touch-ups are available to existing clients during the period between 1 month and 3 years after the initial application.

Over time, your permanent makeup will fade due to many factors such as: natural skin exfoliation, sun exposure, medications and the use of products and chemicals. To maintain the colour and shape it is advisable to touch up the treated area every 1 to 2 years. A good indication of needing maintenance is when you start having to add to your permanent makeup with pencil or other cosmetics.

Touch Up

Typically, freckles appear naturally across the nose and upper cheeks of the face, giving a sun-kissed appearance. A freckle tattoo is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to emulate the appearance of genuine freckles.

The process involves placement of freckle marks through the implantation of pigments in freckle hues. Comparable to beauty spots, freckle tattoos involve the use of lighter shades, and a greater quantity is strategically placed to achieve the desired effect.

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo that can enhance the color and shape of your lips and give the impression of more fullness. This is done by depositing color ink into your lips and along your lip line to improve the overall look. The color is subtle to give natural-looking results.

If you are looking to achieve a lighter lip tone then lip neutralizing is a procedure by where we tattoo the lip with a certain colour pigment to lift the darker tones and lighten them to the desired look. Most lip neutralizing can take multiple sessions and I always advise a minimum of two.

Lip Neutralization

Nano brows are a form of cosmetic tattoo that mimics the look of hair strokes to create hyper-realistic eyebrows. To create nano strokes, a handheld machine is used. This is different from microblading which is done using a manual handheld tool to create hair strokes. Nano brows cause less trauma to the skin, and last longer than microblading.

Nano Brows

Microshading, also referred to as ombré/powder brows, is a milder application of permanent makeup procedure that is used to fill in sparse and light brows using a fine pen to allot tiny dark dots in a gradient-like appearance. This eyebrow filling technique requires smaller incisions that are unlikely to irritate the skin. The semi-permanent dots created during the procedure will give your brows a fluffy and fuller look. This treatment provides a more natural result by making the brows look like they’re almost powdered in. It may also be known as “shading” because it involves creating a shadow pattern instead of fine hair.

Ombré/Powder/Microshading

Combo brows is a combination of the two treatments above. With this technique, the artist is able to achieve denser and more defined brows. The amazing thing is they will still look so natural with a hint of makeup.  

Combination brows work on different skin types so it gives clients more options when it comes to enhancing their brows. You will also have the option to add an Ombre effect on top of this look.

Permanent makeup correction can fix and even enhance brow shapes, strange discoloration, or any other effect on your look that can make it really embarrassing to wear. Whether the unappealing changes happened over time or your microbladed brows are new, you have the option to change that and get the best look.

Cover Up/Color Correction

Do you regret your eyebrow tattoo? Did your technician do a poor job on your brows? Did your eyebrows get botched? Don’t panic. Saline tattoo removal is a safe and effective way to lighten or remove unwanted ink or pigment using a natural saline solution that lifts your pigment to the surface of your skin. Saline removal lifts all colours of pigments and inks. Sessions are spaced 8 weeks apart as the skin needs adequate time to heal in between procedures. Colour does not lighten immediately after procedure – it will fade over the course of the healing period. The number of sessions required depends on the level of ink saturation in your skin. Multiple sessions may be required.

Saline Tattoo Removal

**ALL EMERGENCY REMOVALS MUST BE PERFORMED WITHIN 48 HOURS**

Emergency saline tattoo removal may be your saving grace if you just had a bad eyebrow work done! If you regret the brows or if you went to a technician who did a poor job, we may be able to lighten or sometimes remove the fresh tattoo entirely using the saline removal technique within 48 hours of getting the tattoo. The sooner we remove it, the better its chances of disappearing for good. This is very safe and effective method on fresh new tattoos or permanent makeup.
