At Smooth skin laser clinic we use the best ND YAG laser machine with a cooling air system. Nd:YAG laser has the longest wavelength of 1064nm reaching deeper and disrupting any future hair growth. Other lasers with a shorter wavelength target melanin in the skin which results in the heat absorbed into the skin, often not deep enough to effectively destroy a hair follicle, and has a higher risk of skin reactions and damage. Nd:YAG is designed for all skin tones, including Asian and Afro-Caribbean skin whereby, other systems are ineffective and can be unsafe.
