My brand Roots Revived, specializes in natural hair of all types. With braids, locs, or twists, there's a style for everyone. We promote simple methods to revive and maintain healthy hair. Revair is a one of it's kind reverse hair dryer. Using a reverse mechanism, similar to a vacuum, this machine dries your hair in a healthy and faster way. 

We avoid using  a blow dryer to dry your hair from soaking wet to dry. This can cause heat damage and is straining to your hair strands and follicles.

 However in some instances (shorter or really fine hair) we use the Laifen blow dryer which has been proven to be just as much a healthy choice to drying your hair!

Blow Dry

Classic protective style for all hair types and length. This service includes any variation of cornrows, pop smoke, west coast etc.

*Hair must be blow dried

Cornrows

Classic protective style for those who prefer to wear their hair down. Large Twist/Single braids include anywhere under 20 braids.

* Hair must be blow dried for singles. 

Singles / Twists

Looking to spice up your look with something unique try a custom design.  Send a picture of your desired style or specify in "booking notes"

* Hair must be blow dried

Starter locs, Dread Re-lock and re-twist. After booking please specify the method you've used to lock your dreads etc. needle, palm roll, free form

This course is designed to educate you on proper hair care practices and techniques when blow drying, single braiding and cornrowing hair.

Stage 1: You will be learning tools and products, blow drying, parting and braiding techniques.

Stage 2: On a mannequin head you will be practicing the previous techniques that were taught until mastery level.

Stage 2: Practicing Technique

Stage 3: You will have the opportunity on a real model to complete a full hairstyle of choice.

A model will be provided with washed and detangled hair. You will choose a style that will be approved prior and execute from start to finish on a real model.
