Microneedling is a safe and effective rejuvenation treatment. Suitable for aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, scars such as acne, chicken pox or surgical, congested skin and large pores, sun damage and hyper-pigmentation, collagen deficiency or dull and tired skin.

Using a dermapen is one the best ways to speed up cell renewal and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in your skin. Through controlled micro-needling insertions, micro injuries are created, this induced superficial trauma triggers the skins wound healing response to prepare the skin.

Blood components spill into the injury site causing platelets to come into contact with extracelluar matrix. This contact triggers platelets to release clotting factors, essential growth factors and cytokines, such as platelet growth factor and transforming growth factor beta.
