Spectra/Laser toning is a treatment method using the Lutronic Spectra Q-switch laser (infrared wavelength of 1064nm). We switch between with and without Spectra carbon lotion, for the treatment of melasma and post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (dark spots on the skin left by inflammatory acne lesions). When the laser is activated, faint snapping noises can be heard, and mild warmth may be felt. The technique uses a low fluence multi-pass method to slowly break down and effectively remove pigments. The melanin in the cells is the target of the laser energy. The energy breaks it up so it can be flushed out of the body. To reach deeper layers of tissue, the treatment must be repeated several times.
Treatments are done at 1-2 weekly intervals. Usually, a minimum of 5-10 sessions are required to achieve satisfactory results.

Electrolysis is the insertion of a probe into each hair follicle to deliver electric currents that destroy the hair root. It is the only permanent method of hair removal. You will need several sessions; the number differs for each individual. Usually, you want to book an appointment weekly or bi-weekly.

Microneedling is performed with the INTRAcel RF (radio frequency) technology. Through the action of the microneedles, a tiny column is created that facilitates heating and brings about a growth factor that promotes the mechanism of natural recovery with an effect similar to that of peeling. It emits a high-tensioned RF pulse onto the target area inside the skin.  The fractional RF thermolysis is applied directly to this area and selectively regenerates the collagen fibers between the superficial dermis and muscle band, resulting in the fibers immediately dwindling and thus promoting the construction of new collagen.
