We use Aerolase exclusively to treat acne, being a 1064nm laser it is safe for all skin types. But it's unique pulse width makes it unique and effective at treating acne.

The Aerolase laser treats acne by:
Heating up and shrinking the sebaceous glands leading to lower sebum output
Killing the acne bacteria
Reducing the redness associated with the acne
Improving early scarring
Reducing the inflammatory component of acne

Typically, a series of treatments are needed, 4-6, weekly or bi-weekly. Touch-ups are needed every 1-3 months.

Aerolase - Acne Treatment (Existing Package)

Spectra/Laser toning is a treatment method using the Lutronic Spectra Q-switch laser (infrared wavelength of 1064nm). We switch between with and without Spectra carbon lotion, for the treatment of melasma and post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation (dark spots on the skin left by inflammatory acne lesions). When the laser is activated, faint snapping noises can be heard, and mild warmth may be felt. The technique uses a low fluence multi-pass method to slowly break down and effectively remove pigments. The melanin in the cells is the target of the laser energy. The energy breaks it up so it can be flushed out of the body. To reach deeper layers of tissue, the treatment must be repeated several times.
Treatments are done at 1-2 weekly intervals. Usually, a minimum of 5-10 sessions are required to achieve satisfactory results.

Shockwave therapy for cellulite has been clinically proven to be effective without the need for drugs or surgery. This is done with the shockwave acoustic device. The waves stimulate fat breakdown in cells. It enhances the elasticity and connective tissue fibers and improves skin tone. By reducing the fat and tightening the skin it results in the disappearance of the orange peel or mattress appearance in cellulite. Shockwave therapy stimulates blood flow and cellular metabolism as well as lymphatic drainage and self-regeneration processes. Shockwave therapy also improves skin elasticity because it stimulates fibroblasts, which enhances collagen and elastin production.

Electrolysis is the insertion of a probe into each hair follicle to deliver electric currents that destroy the hair root. It is the only permanent method of hair removal. You will need several sessions; the number differs for each individual. Usually, you want to book an appointment weekly or bi-weekly.

Have red, blonde, white, or grey hair.
Have completed laser hair removal and need a few more hairs targeted.
Want hair removed from very small precise areas such as between the eyebrows.

Microneedling is performed with the INTRAcel RF (radio frequency) technology. Through the action of the microneedles, a tiny column is created that facilitates heating and brings about a growth factor that promotes the mechanism of natural recovery with an effect similar to that of peeling. It emits a high-tensioned RF pulse onto the target area inside the skin.  The fractional RF thermolysis is applied directly to this area and selectively regenerates the collagen fibers between the superficial dermis and muscle band, resulting in the fibers immediately dwindling and thus promoting the construction of new collagen. A session lasts between 45-60 minutes.
