Reformer Pilates

Pregnancy is a special journey for any woman and a time of immense mental and physical change.

It can also be a very challenging time as your body begins to change shape. Pregnancy yoga can be a great support as you experience these transformations and many women find that it really helps them to be more present in their bodies and connect with their unborn child. Wonderfully calming, pregnancy yoga can also help both you and your baby to relax.

Pregnancy Yoga

This is a gentle, flowing yoga class with an emphasis on breath, relaxation, positive mantras and visualisation. During each session we will focus on yoga moves that promote relaxation,  encourage blood flow to the hips, increase circulation and strengthen connections in the pelvic area, abdomen and heart.

I offer slightly different sequences for different times of the month. Sessions can also include women who are in the two week implantation phase of IVF (a very stressful time indeed for many women).

A bespoke, relaxing massage incorporating the soothing effects of Swedish massage techniques to release tension, boost circulation, and encourage gentle detoxification. This deeply restorative treatment is designed for tight, stressed and aching muscles and when combined with Reiki Energy Healing is truly magical.

Reiki balances our mental and emotional states, enhancing our body’s own self-healing response which assists the body in detoxification. Here, Reiki naturally calms our sympathetic nervous system also known as the anxious (fight-or-flight) mode and activates our parasympathetic nervous system bringing us into a healing mode, our rest and digest.

Reiki Energy Healing

Set by candlelight and infused with Reiki Energy Healing, the Indian Head Massage is a deeply calming and relaxing treatment. You will experience a neck, shoulder and upper back massage, alongside a scalp and facial massage. It’s the perfect tonic for anyone suffering with muscle tension  and stress and leaves you feeling lighter, happier and with a glow in your step.
