The following aftercare advice is essential to help reduce the risk of treatment complications, to improve your comfort/healing and to help achieve the best possible results from treatment.
Immediately following treatment:
● Do not rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after the injection.
● Do not lie down or perform any strenuous exercise for at least 4 hours after the
injection.
● Avoid exposure to the sun, heat, and extreme cold for at least 24 hours after the
injection.
● Avoid consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours after the injection.
General aftercare instructions:
● Wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup to the treated area.
● Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area.
● Do not have any other cosmetic procedures in the treated area for at least 2 weeks after
the injection.
● It is normal to experience mild swelling, redness, and bruising at the injection site. You
may apply a cold compress to the treated area to reduce swelling and discomfort.
