A massage technique that is mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.

The goal of myofascial therapy is to stretch, release and loosen the fascia, which is the system of membranes wrapping muscles, bones, ligaments, nerves, and organs. The session is usually focused on a specific client's intention. You will be introduced into a relaxing and safe environment and guided into a short meditation. It is an exercise regimen that is typically performed on a floor mat or with the use of specialized tools or machines and aims to improve flexibility and stability by strengthening the muscles and especially the torso-stabilizing muscles of the abdomen (also called powerhouse) and lower back. Originally called Contrology by his founder J.H. Pilates, it focuses a lot on the mind on the body awareness of various little but very important details (neutral position, breathing phases, activation of the pelvic floor, correct use of diaphragm and abdominals, etc.) to fully control all of them until they will become automatic as part of any body movement and stiff motion or joints rigidity will transform into a controlled body flow. It promotes strength and flexibility while avoiding excess strain on joints. It helps with injury prevention and recovery and it is the fundamental element to enhance sports performance at any level.
