PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy for hair loss is a three-step  treatment in which a person’s blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp.
PRP injections trigger natural hair growth and maintain it by increasing blood supply to the hair follicle and increasing the thickness of the hair shaft.

PRP - Hair Loss Treatment

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy (otherwise known as the 'vampire facial') uses your own blood to promote new skin cell growth, boost collagen production and improve circulation. We  take a small blood sample from your arm, similar to a blood test at your GP. This sample is then put into a centrifuge machine which spins the blood very quickly for 10 minutes, separating the component parts into the red blood cells, separating gel, platelets and platelet rich plasma (PRP). After the face is thoroughly cleaned the PRP is applied to the skin and/or injected under the skin and the Skin Pen is  used to create micro-channels to allow optimal penetration of the PRP into your skin.
