Lash extension removal

The lash lift mimics the effect of an eyelash curler. It makes your lashes bend upwards, leaving them looking longer, and your eyes more open and bright. Meanwhile, a lash tint is similar to a brow tint – or applying several coats of mascara. It makes your eyelashes look darker, thicker, and fuller. A lash lift is a chemical treatment. First, they will cleanse and separate your top and bottom lashes. The top lashes will be attached to a silicone patch on your eyelid and combed into place. Then, an eye-safe perming solution is applied. The process works similarly to a hair perm – the chemical solution breaks down the bonds in the eyelash, allowing it to change shape. After a few minutes, a setting solution will be applied to seal in the curl. The results last around six to eight weeks, depending on your lash growth cycle.

What is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination is almost like a perm for your eyebrows; similar to the well-known lash lift treatment. They're both ways of enhancing what you already have by manipulating the hairs with chemicals. The treatment is paired with a brow tint for a bolder enhanced look and includes a brow wax if needed.

Is brow lamination damaging to the brows?
The chemical process of breaking the disulphide bonds within the brow hair is damaging to the hair if not performed correctly. 

I’m allergic to lash and brow tints – Can I have a brow lamination?
The ingredients found most likely to cause sensitivities from a lash or brow tint are not the same ingredients as found in a lamination product so performing a brow lamination is safe as long as it is not followed with a brow tint.

Brow Lamintion

Henna brows are a natural alternative to traditional eyebrow coloring. Traditional eyebrow tints are primarily made of chemicals while most henna brow products are made of natural plant-based ingredients. Plus, unlike traditional chemical-based tints that dry out or damage eyebrows, henna brows coats the hair locking in moisture keeping hair healthy and hydrated which often encourages hair growth. One of the other key benefits of henna brows compared to a traditional eyebrow tint is the fact henna brows not only dye the eyebrow but it is also a brow filler. The henna stains the skin beneath the brows for up to 4 weeks with the tint lasting on the eyebrow hairs for 6-8 weeks.
