Ear wax removal using micro-suction is an effective method that involves the use of a gentle suction device and magnification to remove excess wax from the ear canal. This procedure is typically performed by an Audiologist, Ear nurse or an Ear, nose, and throat specialist. Micro-suction is considered safer than the syringing method.

For best outcome and reduced likelihood of needing  follow up micro-suction sessions, its is strongly advised to soften wax with olive oil or almond oil for a few days prior to the appointment. Please avoid over the counter ear wax softeners (e.g waxsol) as this complicates the removal process.

You also agree to make full payment for procedure or partial payment if there is no wax present.

A thorough ear examination will be conducted with a high-quality otoscope. If you booked for wax removal but none is needed, a $20 booking fee applies.
