What is a Patch Test?

A patch test is a quick procedure to check for any allergic reaction to the ingredients in our hair colour products. A small amount of the product is applied to your skin, typically behind the ear or on the inner elbow, 48 hours before your appointment.

Who Needs a Patch Test?

A patch test is required for:
 • New clients booking a colour service.
 • Returning clients who:
 • Have not had a colour service within the last six months.
 • Are using a different product or colour range.
 • Have experienced a change in medical history, including pregnancy or illness.
 • Reported sensitivity or reactions to previous products.

When to Book a Patch Test
 • Patch tests must be conducted at least 48 hours before your appointment.
