Acupuncture - Follow Up (50 minutes)

Recommended to start from 35/ 36 week untils full term- Dr Amy will use a selection of acupuncture points to help prepare the mother's body for birth, to support her mental health and cervix ripening. Specific induction acupuncture points will be used from full term. Acupuncture has the potential to induce body relaxation, alleviate stress and tension, and enhance the release of positive hormones and natural pain relievers. These aspects become crucial during the labor process, as a calm and mentally prepared state can effectively communicate to the body that it is ready to welcome the new arrival. Please allow 45 - 60 minutes for this appointment. 

Labour Preparation Acupuncture (50 minutes)

This appointment is to rebook with Dr Amy for support during your pregnancy. Please allow 45 - 60 minutes for your session to allow you to totally relax. 


Pregnancy Acupuncture - Follow Up (50 minutes)

Relaxation Massage is a calming, restorative experience designed to support the nervous system by helping to downregulate stress responses and promote a sense of safety and ease. This gentle, full-body massage uses long, flowing strokes and soothing circular pressure with the hands and palms to engage the parasympathetic nervous system—the part responsible for rest, recovery, and healing.

By incorporating slow, rhythmic techniques and optional joint movement, your therapist helps quiet the mind and reduce physical tension, allowing the body to shift out of a fight-or-flight state and into a place of deep relaxation. Ideal for those looking to soothe an overactive nervous system, this massage nurtures both body and mind, promoting balance, calm, and overall well being.

A full body oil massage will leave you with a sense of calm and ease.

Relaxation massage (60 minutes)

During this consultation, Dr Amy will conduct a thorough interview to address your health and wellbeing concerns from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Please allow an hour for your session so that you can walk out feeling totally relaxed afterwards. 

A personalized treatment plan that covers dietary and lifestyle recommendations along with herbal or supplement prescription (if appropriate), will be created just for you. 

This session caters to a variety of issues, including those related to stress, sleep, digestive health, musculoskeletal conditions, gynecological matters, and general health concerns.

Initial Consultation + Acupuncture (60 minutes)

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine offer support at various stages of pregnancy, addressing issues such as pregnancy-related nausea, digestive concerns, emotional wellbeing, and preparation for labour.

This session is well-suited for individuals at any phase of pregnancy, spanning from the early days to the onset of labour. For those contending with morning sickness, these weekly treatments serve as a reliable source of relief. As pregnancy nears its conclusion, weekly sessions from 35-36 weeks can aid the body in preparing for smoother labour by stimulating specific points to assist in cervix ripening and nurturing the expectant mother. 

Please allow 60 minutes for this session. 

Pregnancy Acupuncture - New Client (60 minutes)

For fertility support- a minimum of 12 weeks for preconception care is suggested and Dr Amy recommends having weekly acupuncture for at least the first month, then fortnightly acupuncture for the following two months. During this consultation, Dr Amy will conduct a thorough interview to address your health and wellbeing concerns from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Please allow 60 minutes for this session. 

Fertility Acupuncture - New Client (60 minutes)

Fertility Acupuncture - Follow Up (50 minutes)

Ideally- Dr Amy would recommend having weekly acupuncture appointments for 12 weeks leading up to your first transfer for pre-conception care, weekly during your IVF cycle and within 24-48 hours of your embryo transfer. Please allow 45- 60 minutes for this appointment.
